About All Happy Dogs Run

All Happy Dogs Run is Portland’s very first mobile gym specifically created for dogs. We come right to your home or office. Our treadmills (known as slatmills) are custom built only for K-9s. They do not have motors so each dog will exercise at their own comfort level. This state of the art equipment can accommodate small to large breed dogs with the highest safety and comfort. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is recommended at least once or twice a week for the best results.

Problems with Lack of Exercise

Dogs are just like kids. They need structure, good nutrition, routine, daily exercise and quality cuddle/playtime with us every single day. If we do not provide the proper and beneficial environment for our fur babies to thrive, unfortunately, multiple problems may occur.

  • Excessive chewing, scratching, digging.

  • Going potty in the house.

  • Sleeplessness, hyperactivity, excitability, restlessness.

  • Constant barking, whining, pacing.

  • Bad manners like jumping on people, knocking over things, aggressive social play.

Exercise is Essential to Dogs

Research shows leaving dogs in the backyard or house all day is not good for them physically or mentally. Daily socialization and exercise are essential for their overall well-being and health.

Why the Treadmill?

  • Dogs are born to run! Running releases energy, making it less likely to have destructive behavior, anxiety and boredom.

  • Running helps maintain your dog’s weight, improve muscle tone, maintain a strong cardiovascular system, build endurance and is beneficial to overall mental health.

  • Challenges your dog to concentrate and focus on balance and coordination.

  • Provides a full body workout without the impact of hard surfaces.

  • Your dog will receive all of the benefits of exercise regardless of weather conditions and/or wanting to avoid dog parks.

  • Aids in training, conditioning and rehabilitation for your dog recovering from injury.

  • Improves social skills and manners.

  • A tired dog is a Happy dog.

Now, currently residing in Oregon, she is excited to offer a unique and interesting new approach to canine fitness that regular walks and dog parks just can’t provide. Getting the heart rate elevated for a period of time is important for keeping our dogs healthy, strong, and very HAPPY.
